Summer 2006

Check out our new Webcam Movies and Images section. You can download movies and images taken straight from our very own webcam!

We trust your visit will be both enjoyable and informative. For our part we are very pleased to share with you events that unfold in our extraordinary relationship with Peregrine Falcons.

Our home is on the Canadian prairie just outside the City of Winnipeg and the setting where we are located is in a beautiful nature park adjacent to a small river. Winter is a harsh time of year with frigid wind chill values and the land is frozen with snow and ice. In the summertime growing is lush and intense and life blooms in a dramatic fashion, including the seasonal thunderstorms that roll and crash against the sky. The sky is a dominant feature of the prairies, vast panoramic and ever changing, and it is in the sky we view one of our most spectacular natural treasures; the Peregrine Falcon.

As falconers we are pleased to continue a three thousand year old tradition that has a continuing value in the 21st century, assisting with the recovery of the Peregrine Falcon.

If you like what you see and wish to contact us further with respect to our ongoing work please e-mail us. Enjoy
